Finding Balance

Husband, friends, family, work, home. All things we love and that's only a small portion of our list. How do we find balance in it all? What's the perfect answer? We're never going to find out if we're being honest but Eventually we all find a way ,Our own way. If I'm being honest I think that being married at such a young age has made it harder to find the balance in life. Finding balance isn't harder because now we're married. It's harder because of what everyone else expects from a married couple but we're still young and wild and just want to have fun!    Just getting out of High School and getting engaged and married in a matter of months can be overwhelming with excitement and joy that you don't end up thinking about anything else. Once we got married and got a place we called home, life started to go on and balance had to come into play. Being just out of High School all I wanted to do is hangout with my friends and my now husband and life will all be good.    That's when my heart started to tug and pull in all different kinds of directions. I want to be 3 places at one time and work, cook and clean on top of that and be the perfect wife and friend. I know many of you feel the same way where you wish you could do it all but when it comes down to it we just can't. We need to learn balance and do it with no thought of regret that subtly sneaks in and tries to altar our thoughts. Sometimes I just hate that word because instead of it being used as everyones individual preference society has turned it into a mathematical graph that tells us what not to and what to do. Y'ALL I WAS NOT GOOD AT MATH. Nope , nadda, nah. I've learned balance is whatever I want it to be ( and my husband of course!!).

With all that being said it's still so important to have balance, whatever it looks like to you! So, while I'm finishing writing this I'm gonna let you know what my night looks like with balance. My night includes a face mask, a little working and a whole lot of Jesus music! Have a great week y'all.
