Hello all! I am so sorry these blogs have been so delayed and spread out. It has been such a busy time in our lives! From good things to great things and from bad things to sad things. I want to say thank you for being so patient and understanding for this huge time gap! I am going to get back into blogging a lot more because guess what... I'M HOME! Yes, in beautiful St.Louis MO (inserts heart eye emoji). I know some of you are rolling your eyes at me because we were just in Florida but let me tell you there is NO place like home! (Clicks heels)
Coming home was very bitter sweet though. We lost a very important part to our family. During our stay in Florida my stepfather William Carr and my mom Mary Carr came back to St.Louis to visit and to celebrate his grand baby turning1! On their way back to Daytona they both weren't feeling well at all and ended up with something like the flu. You do what you can and try to take care of yourself but there's a point to where you know you need more help then what you can do for yourself. Well Bill felt that way so he went to the VA hospital of Orlando where he was treated and got the new he had pneumonia along with multiple other illnesses. Now, prior to this Bill was a Marine in his twenties and during one of his trips he caught a disease called sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis basically hardens your lungs and makes it harder for someone to breathe. So, with all of these things in the hospital it made it very hard for Bill to breathe. We all astayed with him for the duration of his time in the hospital and one day he couldn't breathe on his own anymore so there was a decision to put him on a ventilator with the intentions to get him off. His body just wouldn't allow him to get off though. It was too weak to support itself. Eventually we had to take Bill off of the ventilator, his decision, and on that day we lost an amazing man who loved my mom like no other and he was someone that would do anything for anyone and is going to be greatly missed. We know that the Lord has plans for everything so we are having peace with His plans. Thank you to everyone who has come out and has supported my mother and family! It is greatly appreciated!
Me and Tony have so enjoyed being home even with all of the hardship and sadness that comes along with that great loss. Florida, for us, is an awesome place to visit and have fun in certain spots... but not a place for us to live.
We've missed the familiar faces, knowing how to get around every where and finally being able to settle down and live life together without living with anyone! Whew! We have been super busy lately looking for jobs recently but we know that God will provide with an opportunity for us so we are patiently (and very very anxiously) waiting!
As a couple and being married so young this whole has taught us to lean on eachother, but especially the Lord. We don't need to lean on, or be misled by others, but instead eachother. When you're in a relationship/marriage always remember that your spouse is the first thing that should come after the Lord. Through EVERYTHING. Don't let people talk you into stuff you're not sure your spouse would lie or without confronting them first. They're your number one priority! Love on them like no other. Take time for eachother! We've definitely learned this because that's very hard to do when you're living with people and also, since we've been back we've been trying to see people and people have been trying to see us, so we haven't gotten to really sit down and be there with eachother yet. It will come in the right time and that's what I am so excited about! I know the time is coming and that's what I'm waiting for!
Thank the Lord we are here to stay and to be here with all of our friends and family. We are greatful that we got the experience to work in Florida because we've definitely learned a whole lot and have learned what's important in life. So that's pretty much an update, we're just hanging out now, oh and we got a puppy! Along with our Bella back! Yay for being home! Thanks for everyone's support! We love you allll💖
