Dun Dun Dunnn..... The Truth. As many of you know I’ve been working from home for a little over a year now. I love what I’m doing and I’m really successful at it! Working from home sounds so good to people but people also believe that they won’t make enough money. I have some news... you’re totally wrong if you thought that!
Working from home has its pros and cons just like any "normal" (rolls eyes while typing) job does. The pros are you get freedom and time which is so valuable. You have the ability, if you're not working under anyone, to create and decide your own income. One of the other amazing things is that you get to be so creative with the time and money you get.You have the ability to be as creative with work as you want and do what you love. How cool is that? If you could do what you loved and make money doing it, would you?
With what I do for a job I have social media that has become a huge part of it. Social media is an amazing and fun way to grow your business if you do it right. Many woman and men have a clothing store similar to mine and do exactly what I do. Since we all use social media we interact with each other and share tips and tricks and it's so cool because, guess what, you're not actually working alone. There are so many people to connect with a grow with. I love leading and helping people grow their business along with mine. It's one of the most rewarding things!
Now with the juicy stuff. Yes, we DO make a good amount of money BUT we have to work hard for it, it doesn't come as easy as the ads on Facebook tell you. People love to compare my husband and I with jobs. I've heard "so is he the bread winner?", "When are you going to get a real job?" "He must be working so hard, why don't you help him out?". Unfortunately that's the world we live in but it couldn't be farther from the truth. While when I started my business I wasn't making much but now I'm building and growing my business everyday. I don't stop at a certain dollar amount per hour, I keep growing. There is so much time and energy that goes into creating a business and you must be ready for it. One more huge thing is the business never sleeps and sometimes you have to force yourself to actually sleep.
Having your own business is not for the weak of heart or mind, especially when you're only 19 when you start, and get to hear all those dreary comments.Luckily I do have an amazing husband and support team behind me and I could not do it with out them. I suggest to get people behind you and that are like minded to support and watch you grow. I had to give ya'll just the smallest glimpse because of questions and unknowns people have. If anyone needs help with business related projects email me and let's chat! I hope ya'll are more cautious when you talk to people about their business. We need more loving, understanding and supportive people! You never know who you'll want to work for in the future! ;)
